General Delivery Information
All products on this website are available for nationwide delivery to the whole of the UK (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland) We do not deliver to Southern Ireland (Eire). UK Delivery is completed (next day or future date as required) by courier, with the exception of products from our Same Day Flowers range which are delivered by our network of locally appointed florists on a before 6pm service Monday - Friday only (some rural areas excluded). No delivery service is available on Sundays or Bank Holidays. Value Flowers Range see note below.
Orders for delivery next working day need to be placed by 4.30pm the day before. Orders for delivery Monday need to be placed by 4.30pm the preceeding Friday. Orders for delivery Tuesday following a bank holiday need to be placed by 4.30pm the preceeding Friday. Same Day Delivery products must be ordered by 12 noon by phone only.
A customer making amending a delivery address direct with the courier following dispatch must be aware that their change can cause a delay in delivery. Eden4flowers.co.uk do not accept such changes for this reason.
Delivery options and timings
Each product on our website offers the sender several timed options for delivery of their gift Delivery is guaranteed to be attempted from by the time indicated on the delivery service chosen. Deliveries start no earlier than 0700 hrs.
Products in our Value Flowers Range are delivered by 1st Class Post only. They can arrive up to 24hours after the requested delivery date meaning this service may not be suitable for all customers at all times.
Delivery charges are from £3.99 upwards depending on product and weight on our before 1pm next day service. Next day before 9am guaranteed from £12.99 upwards. Prices are based on one delivery box, We will advise you prior to dispatch if additional delivery charges are payable when extra delivery boxes are required to dispatch and deliver your order.
Some products advertised on the website from time to time are delivered FREE of charge. Our Same Day Flowers range are delivered from £4.99 on a before 6pm service. For up to date information of delivery charges for specific products please see each product page.
Value Flowers Range
Products in our Value Flowers Range are delivered by 1st Class Post only. They can arrive up to 72hours after the requested delivery date or longer over a weekend meaning this service may not be suitable for all customers at all times. This service is not available at busy times Christmas, Valentines and Mothers Day. Value Flowers products are delivered with a free plastic vase. Flower colours and varieties may vary from those shown on occasions, we reserve the right to substitute for an alternative without prior notice at any time due to quality or supply issues.
Senders Responsibility
It is the senders responsibility to ensure that the delivery address and details given for the recpient are correct and complete. Eden4flowers.co.uk Ltd will not accept any responsibility or costs incured for non delivery to an intended recipient where this information is either incomplete or incorrect. This includes the Postcode. It is the senders responsibility to ensure that a recipient will be at the delivery address to receive their gift. Eden4flowers.co.uk Ltd will not offer a replacement gift at a later time where a recipient is away, on holiday or simliar. It is not possible to re-direct a gift once dispatch has taken place.
Delivery Day
On the day of delivery, delivery of your gift will be attempted by the courier. A signature is required on delivery, if the courier cannot get a response at the delivery address the gift will be returned to the local delivery office and a Called Today Card left at the delivery address. It is not possible to leave any delivery with a neighbour or on the doorstep. It is the recipients responsibility to make contact same day with the courier on their return, calling the phone number on the Called Today Card to either arrange to collect or alternatively have the courier re-deliver the gift by special arrangement locally, this will usually be the following day. Eden4flowers.co.uk cannot accept responibility or costs incured for deliveries where the recipient has not initiated or delayed contact with the courier. This action remains wholely the responsibility of the recipient. Eden4flowers.co.uk do strongly recommend that the sender advises the recipient to expect a delivery when they place there order with us.
Delivery Via a Third Party
Delivery to flats. In some flats please be aware that neighbours, a Doorman or Security will sign to receive deliveries for a recipient. You should be aware of this when placing an order for delivery. If a delivery has not arrived on time to a flat it is likely that it has been accepted and signed for on the recipients behalf. Please therefore check with neighbours, Doorman or Security.
In cases where the recipient or delivery address has in place a mail re-direction arrangement with Royal Mail, Your delivery will be routed to this re-direction destination. It is important that the sender understands that this arrangement will overide the delivery address given by the sender on their original order. In such cases collection of the delivery from the designated PO Box or alternative delivery address remains the responsibility of the recipient. Eden4flowers.co.uk cannot accept any responsibility or costs incured for deliveries that are not collected or are delayed by the recipient not collecting their gift from the re-directed address. Eden4flowers.co.uk recommend that senders advise the recipient of a delivery if they are aware of such a mail re- direction arrangement to avoid any avoidable delay in particular where fresh flowers are to be delivered.
For orders where a third party will accept and sign for the delivery on the recipients belhalf i.e. a hospital, airport, college, university, workplace, secure housing with a doorman etc. the signature of any person authorised to accept a delivery on behalf of the organisation shall be accepted as proof of delivery. Eden4flowers.co.uk suggests that the sender takes the time to inform any such third party to expect their delivery prior to placing an order to ensure there is no delay in the recipient receiving their gift. NB. occasionally the above establishments have an arrangement where they collect from the local Royal Mail sorting office, in such circumstances Eden4flowers.co.uk deliveries are routed in line with the local arrangement.
Weather Conditions and Delay
On very rare occasions deliveries can be delayed due to adverse weather conditions. If any general information is sent to us by our couriers we will display such information on our website. If a courier contacts us regarding a specific order we will be in touch with the sender. Where a delay in delivery due to weather conditions has resulted a refund of delivery will be offered. We would also in such circumstances dispatch of a suitable product such as chocolates to the recipient with a message of apology from ourselves for the incurred delay.
No Quibble Guarantee (Flowers)
Eden4flowers.co.uk guarantee that your flowers will reach you fresh and in perfect condition. If this is not the case, please let us know within 3 days of the delivery taking place and we will simply send you a replacement, at our cost. Guaranteed! We are always looking for ways to improve our service and may on occasions require return of the original item.
Main Guarantee (Flowers)
All our fresh flower products are delivered with a Vase Life Guarantee. Some flower varieties last longer than others. For example Carnations vase life expectancy is a few weeks whereas Tulips you can only expect a few days, this is nature. The length of guarantee is shown on each product detail page and varies between 3 - 14 days depending on varieties used.
In the unlikely event that a fresh flower product does not live up to its guarantee we will simply dispatch a replacement for you at our cost. We do require notification of any complaint before the guaranteed period finishes. We are not able to offer a replacement after the Main Flower Guarantee period has passed.
For us to investigate any flower product complaint received after the initial No Quibble Guarantee period but before the end of the Main Flower Guarantee period, we may require return of the item/s or images to be sent by e-mail or post. Return postage costs are the responsibility of the sender until the product are proved to be faulty. We are not able to offer a replacement after the Main Flower Guarantee period has passed. If you are returning goods, they must be returned to us within 3 working days in their original packaging.
Main Guarantee (Food Products)
Eden4hampers.co.uk guarantee the freshness and quality of every food products we deliver. If a product does not meet your high expectations please advise us within 3 days of delivery taking place and we will simply replace it. We do require notice of any food complaint before the expirey date of the food item concerned. We are not able to offer a replacement product after the best before or use by date has passed. As we are always looking for ways to improve our service we may on occasions require return of the original item.
Main Guarantee (Gifts and Non Perishable Products)
In accordance with the Distance Selling Directive (2000) you may cancel a non perishable order at any time without reason, within 7 working days of delivery. Should you wish to cancel your order and receive a refund, you must confirm this in writing within 7 working days of receipt and return the packaged item to us. The item(s) must be returned to us unused and in as new condition. You will be liable for all postage costs incurred as a result of returning an item to us. We cannot issue a refund until we have received the goods. We recommend you obtain proof of posting when you return any goods to us.
Please note this policy excludes all flower and food products as these are perishable goods and exempt from this legislation. Perishable gifts. Where in exceptional circumstances we have agreed to the return of non damaged or non faulty perishable gift a re-stocking fee of not less than 40% but not more than 90% of the original cost will apply and be deducted from any refund.
Product Substitution
Due to occasional issues with supply and demand of products, containers and baskets on this website, in particular fresh flowers we do reserve the right to substitute any item from any of our ranges for a similar variety, brand or make as necessary from time to time without prior notice. We will ensure that any substituted product is of equal or greater value. If your requirement is specific please call us prior to ordering to establish availability.
Finishing Touch Products
Finishing Touch gifts are only available to purchase alongside a main gift. Not sold seperately. Any orders for Finishing Touch gifts without the addition of the required main gift will be cancelled and the customer refunded less any administration fee. Only the Finishing Touch gifts offered on the page following the product detail page are available to purchase with that particular main gift. Mixing of alternative Finishing Touch gifts from other sections or linked to alternative main gifts is not permitted. We do reserve the right to substitute a Finishing Touch product which may not be available at the time your order is dispatched. A maximum of 6 Finishing Touch products can be purchased to acompany each main gift. Purchase of more than one of the same Finishing Touch product per main gift is not permitted.
Taxes
V.A.T. (Value Added Tax) is a UK sales tax. V.A.T. is included within the purchase price of all products where applicable/payable. If you are a customer that requires a V.A.T. Receipt please e-mail accounts@eden4flowers.co.uk after placing your order requesting a V.A.T. receipt be e-mailed to you. Please ensure you provide the full name of the ordering customer along with the order reference number and date your order was placed.
Legal
Your purchase will be deemed to have occurred in the UK. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English Law and the parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
